Lindsay Bingaman
Lindsay Bingaman is a therapist, licensed social worker, and MHPSS specialist with experience in humanitarian and international development settings. She has worked alongside NGOs and UN partners in complex, resource-constrained, and high-stress environments, giving her a deep understanding of the emotional, ethical, and relational challenges faced by humanitarians and expatriates. Lindsay provides therapy to individuals navigating burnout, trauma and secondary trauma, moral injury, anxiety, identity shifts, and the cumulative stress of humanitarian work and cross-cultural living. Her approach is grounded, relational, and trauma-informed, integrating nervous system regulation, meaning-making, and practical tools for sustainability in demanding roles. She is trained in EMDR and incorporates somatic, parts-based, and nature-based approaches.
She is licensed in the U.S. and works with clients internationally. Lindsay brings a strong commitment to social work values, humanitarian principles, and culturally responsive care, and is passionate about supporting humanitarians to stay well, connected, and aligned with their values while doing meaningful work.
